A Comfortable and Engaging Learning Environment for Children
Our school environment is designed to be a safe, colorful, and engaging space that nurtures creativity and promotes exploration. We are dedicated to fostering children's imagination through various activities and facilities. The play area includes ageappropriate equipment such as a jungle gym and space for chalk drawings on the ground. Moreover, children can explore the musical area, plants, and trees, as well as a socialization area with friends and peers. The classrooms are spacious, brightly lit, and decorated in vibrant colors, offering a perfect learning atmosphere. Each classroom is equipped with appropriately sized furniture, ranging from tables to cushions on the floor for a more relaxed seating option. A designated calm corner is available in each classroom, complete with sensory materials to help children when they feel overwhelmed. Our lovely cafeteria is where children have their meals together, and the school provides food for them. There is also an indoor play area stocked with role-play materials, musical instruments, and picture books. For outdoor play, children have access to large building blocks that they can use to create structures. Additionally, children can explore their creativity by making music in non-traditional ways. Finally, a separate room is available where children can rest, ensuring they are well-rested and ready to learn each day. Our school environment is tailored to suit 3- to 5year-olds, with classrooms designed with their size and needs in mind. We strive to create an environment that is child-friendly and not overwhelming for easily sensorially overstimulated children, while still maintaining a bright and cheerful atmosphere.
Standards and Curriculum
Little Seeds Growth Center follows the Waldorf curriculum, which focuses on the natural development of children by encouraging exploration of their surroundings. Family and Community Engagement
At Little Seeds Growth Center, we're all about teamwork! We believe that family plays a vital role in their child's development. That's why we encourage parents to jump onboard and join in on school activities once every two months. You might get to tag along to a school flea market with your little ones or cheer them on at sports day. For some extra fun, we might even rope you in as a chaperone on our school trips to keep those kiddos safe. Plus, we'll be asking for your help on monthly projects to ensure your child's success. Together, we'll be growing tomorrow's leaders in no time!
Staffing
The staff at Little Seeds Growth Center is very diverse, inclusive of different races, and different ages. All teachers are required to have a strong passion for early childhood education. Teachers need to be qualified or in the process of getting a qualification in early childhood education or psychology.
